Delete Your Account
Effective 22 June 2026 · Version 1.0.0
Deleting Your Digital Naka Account
You can ask us to delete your Digital Naka account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make that request, what we delete, what we must keep (and why), and how long it takes.
How to Request Deletion
You can request account and data deletion in either of these ways:
In the app (recommended, when available): open Profile → Settings → Delete account and follow the steps. Because you are signed in, no extra verification is needed.
By email: write to privacy@digitalnaka.in from your registered contact, or include your registered mobile number, and state that you want your account deleted. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting, to protect you from someone deleting your account without permission.
What We Delete
Once your request is verified, we permanently delete the personal information that identifies you, including: your name, email address, and mobile number; your profile photo; your KYC documents (Aadhaar / PAN / GST images and numbers); your address and role-specific profile details (such as partner, company, or business information); your in-app chat messages; and any saved device/push tokens.
What We Keep (and Why)
Some records cannot be erased immediately because the law requires us to keep them, or because they are part of an append-only financial record. We retain transaction, payment, wallet, and wage-ledger entries, and basic booking history, for the periods required by accounting, tax, and other legal obligations. Where we keep these, we remove or mask the details that identify you, so the records are no longer linked to you as an individual. We delete or fully anonymize this data once the required retention period ends.
How Long It Takes
When we receive a verified deletion request, we deactivate your account promptly and complete deletion of your personal data within 30 days. Copies held in routine backups are removed within a further short period as those backups cycle. Data we are legally required to retain is kept only for as long as the law requires, in anonymized form.
Effect of Deletion
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. After deletion you will lose access to your Digital Naka account, history, wallet balance, and any in-progress engagements. If you wish to use Digital Naka again later, you will need to register a new account.
